The editorial board of JKAU-IE takes the issue of plagiarism or any other form of fraud and misconduct in any submission, very seriously. The Journal has a zero-tolerance policy regarding these issues and authors resorting to such ways are either strictly warned or promptly black-listed depending upon the seriousness of the misconduct. The editorial board of JKAU-IE ensures with their best capacity that, both the review and the editorial process remain confidential, fair, unbiased, and transparence. Both editors and reviewers are required to recues themselves from considering manuscripts in which they have conflict of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships/connections with any of the authors, companies or institutions connected to the papers. The editors of JKAU-IE do their utmost, as is humanly possible, to ensure that all published material are accurate, complete, and free from all types of errors. However, in instances where an editor finds that a significant error has been published for which a correction needs to be made, the JKAU-IE ensures that the record is set straight by issuing corrections and retractions when needed. Any detected cases of misconduct, whether on the part of authors, reviewers or editors, are vigorously pursued and promptly dealt with sternly. To support and promote integrity in research publication, the journal’s editorial board fully endorses the position statement for editors and authors that were developed in the 2nd World Conference on Research Integrity held in Singapore in 2010.
