The Positions of French politicians towards Islamic Finance

Abstract. This paper reviews the positions of the French politicians with regard to Islamic finance through official sources.

Despite the fact that political figures expressed their position of embracing France to Islamic finance positively or negatively, there appear no clear position of the French parties about this sensitive file, and a watershed in the French political map as saying, for example, that the right support and the left opposed or that the ruling party supports and opposition refrains.
