Main Subject: Teaching International Economics from an Islamic Perspective.
Most Important Recommendations:
1. Recommend to organize periodic meetings (once at least annually) to discuss selected teaching courses in economics from an Islamic perspective, and to conduct regular conference calls among those interested in this subject.
2. Recommend encouragement of academic contribution to the Saudi Economic Society to organize seminars that would support academic communication on subjects closely related to Islamic Economics.
3. Recommend to organize intensive training courses by the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) of the Islamic Development Bank in Islamic Economics.
4. Organize a seminar on the way Islam deals with the phenomenon of poverty.
