Main Subject: Teaching Public Finance from an Islamic Perspective.
Most Important Recommendations:
1. The participants recommend to the Islamic Economics Research Center of King Abdul Aziz University to translate the comments made on "Teaching Public Finance from an Islamic Perspective" by Mohammad Nejatullah Siddiqui into Arabic and to send them to the Departments of Economics in the universities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. The participants recommend to the Islamic Economics Research Center of King Abdul Aziz University to organize a meeting of specialists in Economics and Shari'ah Sciences to shed more light on the legitimacy of taxes and the role of the state in economic activity, or to pose specific questions that relate to this subject to the OIC Fiqh Academy or request specialists to write on this subject.
3. The participants recommend to reformulate the paper entitled "A Proposed Conception of the Vocabulary of Public Finance", which was prepared by the Curricula Committee in the light of the comments made by the participants, then to send such comments to departments of economics in the universities of the Kingdom to review and exchange ideas thereon.
