 Abstract

This seminar presents an analytical and thorough reading of the book “Risk Sharing in Finance: The Islamic Finance Alternative” that has been published by Wiley (Asia) in 2012, and authored by four well-known Muslim economists and academicians; Hossein Askari, Zamir Iqbal, Noureddine Krichene and Abbas Mirakhor. The paper has been divided into five sections and a preface. The preface sheds light on the importance of the topic that the book treatises and the prime questions it addresses.
