Academic Meetings Held in Jeddah

  1. The 12th Meeting for Economics and Islamic Economics Department Chairs at Saudi Universities (Jumada Al-Akhera 26 – 27, 1436 H/January 15 – 16, 2015 G) in Shaikh Saleh Kamel Hall at the IEI.
  1. Dr. Samy Al-Suwailam’s lecture entitled “Developing the Islamic Financial Products: Opportunities and Challenges,” and delivered to the students of the Executive Master’s in Islamic Financing (Muharram 13, 1436 H).

     3.Dr. Muhammad Bin Saud Al-Ussaimy’s lecture entitled “Treasury Operations in Banks: Technical and Islamic Characteristics,” and delivered to the students of the Executive Master’s in Islamic Financing (Jumada Al-Akhera, 1436 H).

  3. A symposium entitled “Community Financing: A Practical Realistic Case: How Financing Can Change the World for the Better.” That was held at IE Business School in Madrid (Shaaban 20, 1436 H/June 8, 2015 G). 
  4. The Launching Ceremony for the third book published by the Saudi Spanish Center for Islamic Economics and Finance. That was held at IE Business School (Shaaban 20, 1436 H/June 8, 2015 G).
  5. A workshop entitled “Comparing Islamic Waqf to Western Waqf.” That was organized by Casa Árabe in Madrid (Shaaban 21, 1436 H/June 9, 2015 G).
  6. 4.Prof. Refaat Abdul Karim’s lecture entitled “Short-term Islamic Financing Tools.” Prof. Abdul Karim is the CEO of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation. That lecture was delivered at IE Business School (Jumada Al-Oula 27, 1436 H/March 18, 2015 G).

Meetings Held in Paris

A conference on “Financing and Innovative Solutions for a Real Economy.” That was held at University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, in cooperation with the Islamic Finance Specialists Organizations (IFSO), University of زززززززززززززززززززززززززززززززززززززززز
