The Islamic Economics Institute organized successfully 4th

International Executive Program in Islamic Finance 2018’

The Islamic Economics Institute, King Abdulaziz University organized its 4th International Executive Program  in Islamic Finance in partnership with Saudi – Spanish Center for Islamic Economics and Finance (SCIEF) of IE University, Madrid and Islamic Research & Training Institute (IRTI) of Islamic Development  Bank Group (IDBG) for four days from 02 Rajab to 05 Rajab 1439 H (19-22 March 2018 CE).

The Dean of Islamic Economics Institute, Dr. Abdullah Qurban Turkistani, explained that the international executive program has two main axis, the first is the awareness and definition of Islamic finance and its principles, and the second axis is the focus on education. The program is an intensive training course deals with the theoretical aspect of Islamic finance along with practical and real world application. All participants in the program are senior executives of various local and international companies and organizations.

The program has lecture sessions and round table discussions. The first day is devoted to theoretical framework. The first day of the program was at King Abdulaziz University, the second day at the Islamic Development Bank, the third day in Alkhabeer Capital and SEDCO Capital, and fourth and final day at National Commercial Bank. The program was attended by (15) executives from companies and financial institutions from different countries, Spain, Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, Algeria and Saudi Arabia.

The final day witnessed the distribution of certificates to participants and a luncheon in honor of the guests in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
