Abstract : The goals of the study are to find out the impact of the level of coordination on government service agencies which improves efficiency. The study also aims to achieve a number of goals. Firstly, to identify the nature of coordination and the different methods of current coordination within these agencies. Secondly, to discover the constraints that limit the coordination among these agencies .The researcher has laid down a number of questions. These questions are; First, what is the extent of coordination among government service agencies? What are the methods of coordination that are currently used? What are the obstacles that limit coordination? What is the importance of coordination in increasing efficiency among government agencies? Lastly, to find out if there are any significant differences which have statistical indicators among respondents. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach in this study . The study population is represented in the personnel management of passports and the labor office, as governmental service agencies in Jeddah, and the society is (1100) units , The researcher used simple random sample, and the sample size was (285) units , has study was divided into two parts: The first section (theoretical study), which dealt with the coordination process in general, and the second section (the application study ) was to identify the impact of the level of coordination on the efficiency of performance in government agencies of the character of service, the researcher reached a number of conclusions one of the most important was that the process of coordination exists , but applied by conventional methods which are ancient letter editing and through the person on charge , in addition to the lack or scarcity of modern technology that would have helped in the implementation of all joint actions, as well as the lack of interaction of the administrative leadership in the introduction of methods coordination that helps to accomplish the tasks and raise the efficiency properly. The researcher also suggested a number of recommendations, which if implemented will lead to maximized and efficient performance. These recommendations include: First, an absolute support of senior leadership of these methods of coordination , with the provision of the necessary budget for this purpose . Secondly, the creation of superior body that controls and monitors operational work. One of the basic tasks of the governor should be the monitoring of coordination methods among these service agencies. Notwithstanding the size of these duties , whether they are daily work procedures or execution of infrastructure projects .Thirdly , to intensify permanent training programs for these service agencies ; and , Finally, to renew current means of technology and introduce new and modern ones.
