Abstract : This study aimed to identify the impact of the electronic service' quality, in its dimensions (the quality of application, the quality of information, the quality of provided services, the quality of electronic ethics and the quality of software), on the use of mobile health applications from the viewpoint of patients (inpatient category) at King Fahad General Hospital in Jeddah Governorate. It also aimed to identify the degree of using mobile health applications from the viewpoint of patients ( inpatient category) and to measure the differences in the sample members' responses, in terms of demographic characteristics represented by (gender - age - educational qualification - marital status), about the nature of the relationship between the quality of the electronic service and the use of mobile health applications. The researcher relied, in this study, on the descriptive analytical approach. The study population consisted of patients of inpatient category in the hospital, their number ranged between (1200- 1400) patients per month. The field study was applied in Rabi Al Thani 1441 AH. The questionnaire was used as a study tool, it contained (36) phrases and was distributed randomly in paper form to (310) of patient (inpatient category). Data was statistically processed. The study showed several results, the most important of which are: The dimensions of the quality of the electronic services are available in a large percentage, represented in the quality of the electronic application, the quality of electronic application software, the quality of electronic application services, the quality of electronic application information, the quality of application ethics, respectively. The reality level of using health mobile applications from the patients' (inpatient category) viewpoint at King Fahad General Hospital in Jeddah Governorate was very high. In addition, there are no differences in the responses of the sample members in terms of demographic characteristics represented by (gender, age, educational qualification, marital status). The researcher provided recommendations, including ensure that there are offices that support electronic services and applications in all health centers and hospitals in order to provide assistance and support to patients in the event of a complaint or technical defect. Ensure the compatibility of the data of the patient’s condition between application and patient’s health file in terms of the results of the radiology and lab tests, the dispensing and repetition of medicines, the current dates of the patient and dates available in the future. In addition to provide support to the department of health applications to continue in developing the electronic services by providing training courses for the employees in this department.
