Abstract : The aim of this study is to evaluate the demand function for housing of visitors to the Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia. The questionnaires results show the priorities assigned to the factors behind the demand for such accommodation in Makkah and Madinah. The study recommended to the government to encourage the policy of building new housing units far from Haram and attract the visitors to them through good transportation, telecommunications, gardens, etc, in addition to providing suitable furniture and adequate number of rooms.
