This study was designed to identify the relationship between the dimensions of educational leadership and the emotional intelligence of kindergarten's leaders in Jeddah. The study community consists from (53) Educational leaders, the sample of the study consisted of (30) kindergarten leaders at Jeddah city. Tools of the study are, scale (Murcy, 1998), consisting of five dimensions: (Objectivity, Authority, Flexibility, understanding others, Knowledge of communication principles), the other tool is Emotional intelligence scale (Kurdi, 2010), consisting of four dimensions: (social skills, emotional self-awareness, treatment of emotional accepts, empathy),the results of the study As follows: There is no statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (α = 0.01) between the average dimensions of the educational leadership with the average emotional intelligence score among kindergarten leaders, There is no statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (α = 0.01) between the average degree after (objective, Authority, Flexibility, understanding others, Knowledge of communication principles) in the educational leadership with the average degree of emotional intelligence among kindergarten leaders, ,The most important recommendations are: Establish a unit in the Ministry of Education for strength and advancement of support strength, training and developing of educational leadership skills of educational leadership, preparing training program to acquire competence for educational leadership. |
