Prepared By Matran Muhammad Yahyia Ayyashy Supervisor By Dr. Ashraf Ahmed Abdul Aziz Zeidan Associate Professor at the Faculty of Educational Graduate Studies - Educational Technology The research aimed to design a model for employing augmented reality technologies and its effectiveness in development English language skills for Secondary School Students by defining standards for augmented reality design in digital electronic media to learn the English language, listing the most important augmented reality tools in Learning resources, setting a model for employing augmented reality technologies, and measuring its effectiveness in development of language skills in the English language. According to the proposed augmented reality model, two educational units were designed in the English language course for third year secondary students to develop the four English language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), and the research tool was an achievement test to measure the cognitive and skill aspects of students in the level of language skills performance. To measure the effectiveness of the model in developing these skills, it was applied to a sample of 124 third-grade students, divided into two groups, one is experimental and the other is control, and the basic experiment was applied to them, and the results were monitored, and a "T test" was used to calculate the significance of the differences between the two groups, The results indicated that there is a statistically significant difference at a level of confidence (0.05) between the mean scores of the members of the experimental and control groups in the total language skills in favor of the experimental group that was exposed to learning sources designed according to the augmented reality employment model.
