Abstract : This study discusses the legal protections of public funds in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to analyze the effectiveness of the current protections mechanisms, The dissertation is structured and divided into four chapters. The first chapter defines ‘public funds’ in general, the second chapter deals with civil protection of public funds, chapter three is devoted to aspects of criminal protection of public funds, and ending with the fourth and final chapter, in which the administrative protection of public funds is covered and analyzed. The researcher generally followed the analytical approach in developing this dissertation. However, with regard to certain topics, the use of the comparative method (against Egyptian laws) was considered more suitable. The study concluded with a set of outcomes and recommendations. One of these outcomes was the integration of legal protection for public funds to achieve the maximum degree of effective protection. Furthermore, The study also concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which was to consider issuing a unified law for public funds in Saudi Arabia to cover all legal protection of public funds.
