Abstract : The study aims to measure the impact of the privatization of Saudi post on the efficiency of postal services, where the study addressed the definition of privatization and its importance and the aim of its implementation, and also addressed the experiences of countries in privatizing their sectors .He presented the lessons learned from previous experiences, followed by a presentation on the history of Saudi post and the most important activities dedicated ,the study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, while the analysis of the data envelope was used by means of a statistical package (STATA) to illustrate the efficiency of the services provided, the improvement of internal efficiency and the identification of efficient inputs that helped produce the output .It was clear from the results of the questionnaire that privatization contributed to the improvement of the level of services provided through the study of a number of axes. The study also showed that in order to increase the efficiency of postal services, it is necessary to increase the incoming mail (as a director) by 67, 12%. In the period of privatization, the following years (2004-2016) were the best except for the year 2014.In the period of the Government, the Year (1996) was the worst where he received the 12th place and the input should be reduced by 9.37% to increase efficiency. Through the study, the researcher found that the application of privatization to Saudi post is an integral part of the policies of privatization and economic reform programs .It is also an adjunct to addressing the economic crisis by correcting the negative impact of public sector institutions ' financial performance on the state budget if properly applied, by reducing government subsidies to the sector and increasing mail revenues as it leads to a high efficiency of Saudi post, as the private sector is more efficient than the public sector, this increases the rate of growth of the economy of the Kingdom in general. The researcher also recommends that the full customization process is carried out in order to increase the efficiency of the services provided after the success of the experiment in Naqel Company and a number of other companies.
