Abstract : Abstract Effectivness of Using Management Accounting Practices in Saudi Private Universities: An Emprical Study Yahya Abdalhade S. Al-Amri This study focused on investigating the effectiveness of using management accounting practices in Saudi private universities، identifying factors influence management accounting practices implementation، and the most applicable techniques، also، the correlation between three factors، (governmental financial support، competition، and profitability) and the extent of effectiveness of management accounting practices implementation was established. The sample consisted of: deans، vice deans، chief accounting officer، senior manager of administrative and financial affairs department، and accountants. Description approach has been used to achieve the objectives of the study، and data analyzed of 57 questionnaires by SPSS.20. Results of the study revealed that the Saudi private universities receive a huge financial support، which led to develop of their management accounting systems، it found also that there is a high degree of competition among the universities، which consequently motivate them for best practices of management accounting tools. Finally، the study found that the obstacles that prevent universities from implementing management accounting practices are not significant.
