Abstract : Abstract The Effect of Administrative Accountability on Job Performance (A Case Study on Employees at Saudia Airlines Aircraft Maintenance in Jeddah) By Ahmad Nasir Aldhahri Due to the importance of accountability and its impact on staff performance, the researcher found that there was a mismatch between the correct concept of accountability and the status of phishing, the use of power against workers, disobedience, and sometimes accountability. The present study aims at achieving the following objectives: To identify the extent of the managements commitment to applying administrative accountability, and the impact on the level of performance of the employees in the maintenance department in Saudi Arabian Airlines and to identify the challenges and difficulties that impede the application of administrative accountability systems. The study targeted the maintenance staff of Saudi Airlines in Jeddah, and a random sample of (382) individuals were selected. This study was mainly based on the analytical descriptive approach. This study concluded that the results showed that effective management accountability leads to higher performance rates in maintenance department. And that the managements commitment to the implementation of administrative accountability leads to the control of violations of the work as they occur, which increases the performance of workers. The results also revealed that the challenges that hinder the implementation of managerial accountability are weak management, which makes them unable to implement administrative accountability, and thus adversely affect the performance of employees. The study recommends activating, updating and following up administrative accountability methods. As well as develop a clear job description so that employees can know the behaviors, errors, which expose them to administrative accountability, which leads to the activation of this aspect to them and reflect the effects Positively on staff performance.
