Abstract : This study aims to clarify the effect of social relations within work place, such as (cooperation, confidence, respect, appreciation, affection, competition, fanaticism, conflicts) on employees attitude toward turnover at King Abdul Aziz University. The study is based on descriptive approach; it comprises two main parts:The theoretical part presents the most important findings from different resources. The field part is based on a questionnaire to collect data. The questionnaire sheet includes (42) items. The study population was (1896) administrative employees at KAU Main Women Campus. The study sample comprises (414) administrative employees random stratified chosen. Data was statistically treated by Statistical Package for the Social Science Software (SPSS). The explored results that: Social relations, such as respect, appreciation, cooperation, affection, and trust have been highly noted among employees in the workplace at KAU. While, there is a significant tendency to turnover among administrative employees at KAU. In addition, it is demonstrated a direct positive effect has been noted of social relations, such as competition, fanaticism, and conflict, on the tendency to turnover. It is recommended that: Necessity of identifying the key causes behind negative attitudes towards work. The university should take social relations more into consideration, as they are the key factors impacting the employees’ tendency to turnover, which will be reflected on their professional performance, as well as their psychological state, not to forget their loyalty and the sense of belonging to the university. It is recommended by application on different samples from other universities to compare with the results of the present study to generalize the results.
