Abstract : This research basically aims to study and investigate the relationship between self-management skills and administrative creativity among administrative officials in King Abdul Aziz University, As-Suleimaniyah Campus – Jeddah. From this main objective, several secondary objectives are derived. These secondary objectives are as follows. It aims to recognize the relationship between self-management among members of the sample group on one hand and administrative creativity on the other hand. Further, it aims to recognize self-management skills and aspects of administrative creativity; and whether or not such relationship between self-management skills and administrative creativity is attributed to the following variables: academic qualifications, nature of position, years of experience, and training courses. To this aim, the researcher has employed the descriptive approach. Community of the study is composed of a randomly selected sample group representing 30 % of the total volume of community of administrative officials working in the departments of King Abdul Aziz University, As-Suleimaniyah Campus—Jeddah. Following are the most significant findings concluded by the study. The study has revealed that members of the sample group (administrative officials in King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah) have remarkably demonstrated self-management skills, alongside with aspects of administrative creativity as a whole among administrative officials. Also, the study has revealed a statistically indicate correlative relationship between each and every skill of self-management skills and each and every aspect of administrative creativity. Additionally, the study has revealed absence of any statistically indicated differences between all self-management skills on one hand and all aspects of administrative creativity on the other hand. Following are the most important recommendations. The study has recommended continuation of exercise of self-management skills and administrative creativity among administrative officials. Also, it has been recommended that strength points among administrative officials should be reinforced. All potentials should also be afforded so as to help administrative officials maintain their career progress. Creative ideas, notions and exercises should be encouraged without strictly adhering to texts of rules and regulations. As well, awareness about importance of the role played by administrative officials with respect to development of administrative creativity should be raised and highlighted through the following. Training courses on self-management skills and administrative creativity should be held for staff and personnel of King Abdul Aziz University. Applied workshops and sessions should be held so as to provide staff and personnel of King Abdul Aziz University with all developments in the field of self-management and its positive effect on their career-related creativity thanks to correlation between both of them. Talent staff and personnel should be motivated so as to activate the spirit of rivalry among them.
