Abstract : Due to the increase in the number of female teachers who are appointed to teach in places far away from their families in the remote Villages and Areas, exposing them on a daily basis to the road risks, scarcity of the public services and lack of basic life needs in their work place, and the effect of all this on their production capacity, the researcher believes it is necessary to focus on incentives that such category of female teachers should be provided with, because incentives are the only way to make up for the difficulties they are facing, which can then raise their productivity. Based on this rationale; the study raises this main question :What is the effect of the current incentive system implemented in the civil service sector, on the productivity of the general education female teachers, who are appointed to teach in the remote villages and Areas far away from their families? Among the most important goals of this study is to find out the contribution of the current incentive system in meeting the basic life needs of these female teachers, as well as to find out the shortcomings in the incentive system, which such category of female teachers are provided with including allowances, rewards and compensations, and its effect on their productivity. The study adopted the descriptive analytical methodology, because it matches the nature of the topic. The study was applied to the general education female teachers who are appointed to teach in places far away from their families throughout Kingdom. The sample was made up of 400 individuals. The most important findings reached by the study, is the fact that, the current incentive system does not meet the basic needs of this category of general education female teachers, Following are the needs in the order of priority: nurseries for infants, adequate medical care, safe transportation, suitable accommodation. On the other hand, the incentives, this category of female teachers are provided with, are inadequate in terms of allowances, rewards and compensations. Besides, the current incentive system does not encourage them to increase their productivity, The study recommends that the Ministry of Civil Services should study and update the current incentive system in a manner, which would keep up with the economic growth and high living expenses that affect the needs of this category of female teachers, as well as offer exceptional incentives that would encourage higher productivity. As opportunities are now available, distance education classes may also be utilized for students in these remote areas in order to reduce the number of teachers appointed there.
