Abstract : This study aims to determine the level of readiness of the government sector to implement Business Process Reengineering, throughout the knowledge of the requirements of the application re-engineering administrative processes, and the possibility of its availability, and to find out the obstacles that may face the Armed Forces Medical Services General Directorate in Riyadh when applying the concept of Business Process Reengineering, and suggestions to overcome these obstacles. To achieve the objectives of the study and collect the necessary data questionnaire was designed to contain (47) paragraph, and analyzed in accordance with the necessary statistical methods. The study population consisted of employees of Armed Forces Medical Services General Directorate in Riyadh (300) employees of the occupants of administrative jobs, and the sample of the study required (169), 250 questionnaires has distributed (153) questionnaires was received, with 89% ratio, which is very acceptable. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method in the preparation of the application of this study. The study found that the requirements of the implementation of Business Process Reengineering in all of its aspects are available but not to the desired level, which indicates the need for attention to these requirements, and to ensure its availability; in order not to form any obstacle to the application, Also, the study found that one of the main obstacles is that the organization do not do studies and research on regular basis for the internal environment to know it's strengths and weaknesses, and the external environment to know the opportunities and threats before developing future plans. The study resulted in the following recommendations: The need of the public sector to transition towards the implementation of Business Process Reengineering in all areas of business management by gradual transition in some administrative processes, through the adoption of a clear methodology includes a comprehensive operational plan for this transformation, so that the adoption of this plan is to determine the level of support and commitment of the top management, the existing and the technical capacity of human resources, environmental, regulatory and financial resources available. Take the necessary actions to reduce or eliminate obstacles for the application of Business Process Reengineering in the Armed Forces Medical Services General Directorate, Connect all departments of the Armed Forces Medical Services General Directorate, and its hospitals branches spreading in all regions through high precise and safe electronic network, and to find a suitable mechanism to do business from anywhere at any time, Field visits to the best regional and international practices to identify successful experiences in this field and how to emulate them.
