Abstract : The study title: Effect of using the media planning to public relations activities. Student name : Matar Bin Salih Alrougi. The Study problem: The problem of the study was stated in the following main question:what is Effect of using the media planning to public relations activities? The Study Main objective: the study aimed to identify the Effect of using the media planning to public relations activities in the Ministry of Culture and Information in the branch of Makkah province. The Study population: The empolyees of the Ministry of Culture and Information in the branch of Makkah province. The study sample amounted to (360) individuals The study Methdology: The study adopted the methodology of the descriptive analysis and depended on the questionnaire as a study tool. The Main results of the study: The most important findings of the study are as follows:- • There are positive effects varied and high levels of planning information on the activities of the public relations branch of the Ministry of Culture and Information in Makkah provice branch , contribute to public relations department to provide the information concerning the work of the ministry as a media and cultural (an average account of $ 3.86, and a percentage 77.2%), • There is the impact of clear planning media on public relations activities and on the use of scientific methods developed for their development, the academic qualifications modest and appropriate to the staff of public relations contributed to the inability of public relations department of media planning. • There is no statistically significant differences among the study sample about the axes of the questionnaire due to the variables personal (Independent variables). The study main recommendations: The most important recommends are as follow :- • It's necessary to attract academic qualifications specialized higher training in the field of public relations and media for use in planning media for public relations activities, and raise awareness among workers of the importance of media planning for public relations activities, through training courses, seminars, lectures and publications. • It's necessary to focus on stimulation of both types finencial and moral stimulation. • It's necessary to provide an adequate budget to fund public relations programs of the Ministry of Culture and Information in Makkah provice branch.
