In this thesis, we are going to investigate the general concepts of statistical con-vergence. In the first chapter, we give an introduction to the usual convergence se-quences, statistical convergence, summability C1, λ-statistical convergence, statistical λ-convergence. In Chapter 2, we give general properties of usual sequences, study the theory and properties of statistical convergence for single and double sequences and establish some relation between λ-statistical convergence, statistical λ-convergence, strongly λq-convergence. Finally, in the last chapter we worked on some inequalities on statistical PN-spaces, summability as stN -convergent, and study the Korovkin type theory for a sequence of linear operators. |
