Abstract : Necessitated the nature of the rapid changes successive in libraries and information that has become necessary to review the rehabilitation programs students of library and information and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for them to engage in market function and respond to business requirements, especially in light of the growing complaint of weakness rehabilitation graduates those sections and the widening gap between the study theory and practice, and the most important aspects of rehabilitation programs provide active training field (field training) working within the framework of the list of detailed implementation define responsibilities of the parties concerned, namely: the Scientific Section and the faculty member supervising the training program and the student and the institution that is chosen for the training field. This study seeks to discuss the issue and determine the necessary factors that should be provided in a practical training program and then come up with a plan training departments can libraries and information in Saudi universities guide the design of training programs geared for students of those sections
