Abstract : All praise is to Allah the Almighty Who is the Greatest in virtue and blessings, and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal-Allah-Ho-Alaihe-Wassalam) who is the best of all the creations. After (saying) this, in the present time the heresies have been wide spread in creed which lead people astray from the prophetic lifestyle and the lifestyle of His pious companions. Hence, there is no other way except recourse to and defending this (prophetic) lifestyle with the correct knowledge of the issues of creed over which there is a collective consensus of the righteous. Ibn-ul-Qayyam was the one among those knowledgeable and righteous people who stood outstanding in knowledge and deep-rooted in comprehension. He stood alone in the solutions and in-depth study of (dogmatic) issues and exploration of their different aspects. Hence the target of this research is to present the collection of his Ijmaas with reference to the issues of creed. In fact I have collected Shaikh Ibn-Taymiyyah’s Ijmaas with the best of my knowledge-based research entitled: (Ibn-Taymiyyah’s Ijmaas over the issues of creed). So this research, into the collections of Ibn-ul-Qayyam’ Ijmaas over his Shaikh’s (Ibn-Taymiyyah’s) issues of Ijmaas, is (conducted) with an understanding of all what has been left (unconsciously ignored) in the previous intellectual study by the Shaikh-ul-Islam. This is in addition to the expression of the opinions of Shaikh-ul-Islam for which Ibn-Qayyam has presented his Ijmaas over the issues of creed. I have organized this research-oriented study into the following order: Foreword-Introduction-Six Chapters-Conclusion and Index. The foreword is about statements of reasons for selecting this particular subject and its significance. It also includes the strategic methodology for conducting this research. The introduction revolves around original version of Ibn-ul-Qayyam’s statements along with deep-rooted study about his Ijmaa and its authenticity while discussing the chapters of issues of creed. The first chapter of this research study is about the collection Ijmaas of previous righteous persons based on logical reasoning. The second chapter focuses on the related Ijmaas about the concept of Qadr (destiny). The third chapter deals with Names and Ahkam (Conditions). The fourth chapter concluded over the discussion of prophethood. The fifth chapter deals with the Day of Judgement (Youm-ul-Akhir) and whatever is related with this concept. Chapter six revolves around Ijmaas over a variety of creeds. This research entails a conclusion and recommendations. The results of this research-oriented study are as followed: The exploration of the additions of Ibn-ul-Qayyam over Ijmaas about forty-five issues of creed by Shaikh-ul-Islam Ibn-Taymiyyah. Out of these forty-five issues of creed, twenty-seven issues have already been mentioned by Shaikh-ul-Islam with a consensus. One of the results of this research is the significance of Ijmaa in the case of difference of opinions and the reasons of the ones who is a disagreeing group of people with reference to the right and straight path of the followers of Sunnah and Jamaa. It also concludes over the right approaches and the right path towards rightiousness and Haq (Truthful and Justified). I would like to recommend the rest of the researchers to quote the Ijamma of Islamic scholars like Ibn-Hazm and Imam Nawawi who secure dignified positions in the domain of Ijmaa. This is of much significance that such a practice of quoting be incorporated by the researcher for the carving and development of the right creed (Aqidah). This practice would (Inshaa Allah) lead to (ultimate) success in both the Homes (Darain).
