The world is heavily dependent on e-Commerce and other online information systems. These systems can achieve growth only if they are accessible very fast. As the users accessing information increase the performance of such systems becomes deciding factor in driving their growth and existence. Performance benchmarking is conducted to verify if system is acceptable, scaleable and will meet performance requirements.
