Research objectives:
Collecting faith issues from AbnAlhajj’s books and explaining the agreement of these issues to the doctrine of the Sunnis, or its violation after presentation and criticism
The Importance of Research:
- Explaining AbnAlhajj’s position in combating heresy and superstitions.
- Explaining AbnAlhajj and his book agreement to Sunnah, as this falls within the chapter of enjoining good and forbidding what is evil and fighting the heresies and superstitions that AbnAlhajj committed to.
- As a matter of credit to AbnAlhajj himself, so that his words would not be followed, in which he abstained the right thing. as well as As a matter of credit to the general Muslims to warn them on matters that contradict the correct doctrine contained in the books of AbnAlhajj, especially the book (Al-Madkhal).
Research Methodology
This research followed a number of methods of scientific research, namely: the historical approach; to define the life AbnAlhajj, and the inductive approach in extrapolating doctrinal views through the words of AbnAlhaj in his books, and the critical approach in responding to Ibn Al-Hajj in the belief matters in which he disputed the predecessor.
Research Results:
- The method of receiving and reasoning for AbnAlhajj is the Holy Book (Quraan), the Sunnah, the consensus, the work of the Companions, the consensus, and the measurement.
-AbnAlhajj agreed Sunnah on important issues:
• Faith is a belief in paradise, recognition by the tongue, and commitment to the pillars of Islam.
• That the doer of big sin is immoral and not a disbeliever; and faith has not been denied from him, and that the doer of disobedience is under Allah's will in the hereafter.
• AbnAlhajj did not contradict the doctrine of the Sunnis and the community, as all issues of faith in angels, faith in Holy Books, faith in messengers, faith in the Judgement Day, and faith in judiciary and destiny.
He did not agree with the doctrine of the Sunnis. The most important of them:
He mentioned that (knowing Allah) is done by looking, meditating or reasoning, and he does not mention instinct.
Some of the meanings of unifying divinity include praying with the dead, calling them, seeking help from them, asking for intercession from them, blessing them, and permissible travel for the graves.
Recommendations:
Realizing all books of AbnAlhajj (May Allah bless him) in a scientific way, because they contain many benefits for the seeker of knowledge. |
