Abstract
:
This research talks about the " semantic output of the term (fa'eel). This is a study of the " Arabic tongue by Ibn Manzoor" in his first three volumes . Objectives of the study: - To acknowledge the morphological formula and its effect upon grammar and significance. - To highlight the integration between the branches of the Arabic language. The study has been divided into four chapters preceded by an abstract and followed by a conclusion. The abstract is a summary of Ibn Manzoor and his book " The Arabic Tongue " and the understanding of the term (fa'eel). The first chapter talks about (fa'eel) through three aspects : noun, infinitive, and common noun. The second chapter talks about the term (fa'eel) which refers to renewal and change. I divided it to three fields of study: as being object, as exaggeration term, and as being a verb. The third chapter is about other interpretations of the term (fa'eel) discussed through two aspects: In which (fa'eel) indicates stability, and in which it indicates participation. The fourth chapter discussed (fa'eel) through a statistical study in which the researcher has used the descriptive analytical method in her study. The study concluded the following : - the change from a terminology to another doesn't only mean diversification, but it means other specific meanings known only to those who know the Arabic Language. - Each terminology has variable meanings. In some cases,it is a noun and in other cases it is an object or an exaggeration. It also could mean stability and necessity, or participation and cooperation. One of the most important recommendation is to invite researchers to study the science of "Sarf" in more depth for it is a rich area of study.
