Comparative Study of Patients Satisfaction with the Level of Outpatient Clinics Services in Public and Private Hospitals In Jeddah City إعداد الطالب/ ناير بن سعد المرواني إشراف الاستاذ الدكتور/ إسماعيل بن خليل كتبخانه Abstract This study aimed at getting to know the extent of patients satisfaction , with the level of outpatient services in public and private hospitals in Jeddah city,and know patients differences in terms of the personal variables,The study adopted the comparative descriptive method. The sample consisted of (896) patients. And three public hospitals have been chosen and three private hospitals. And the study has concluded some results, and the most prominent of them are as follows: The degree of the patients satisfaction with the administrative and health services in outpatient departments at public hospitals has come at a medium level, while the patients satisfaction degree with the social services level was weak. In respect of the private hospitals, the degree of patients satisfaction with the administrative and health services has come at a high level, while the patients satisfaction degree with the social services level was weak. There are statistic indicative differences in respect of the patients satisfaction with the level of the administrative and health services at public hospitals in terms of nationality, gender, age, educational qualification and income variables. While at private hospitals, the differences were in terms of the educational qualification and income variables , and there were no differences with regard to the other variables .There are statistic indicative differences with regard to patients satisfaction with the level of social services in the outpatients departments of public hospitals in terms of the nationality variable, while at private hospitals there were differences in terms of marital status, and there were no differences in terms of the other variables. |
