Abstract : The research aims to identify the relationship between the academic achievements & familial factors. And which is the most influential factor on the academic achievement of the students of the College of Home Economics at KAAU. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach in this research. The research has included two aspects: a theoretical approach and survey approach. The theoretical approach has mainly focused on the family factor & its relationship to academic results. In the field survey, the researcher used a questionnaire that targeted certain points such as: identifying some familial factors (Economic, social & cultural) and its relation to the student’s academic results. The sample was applied on 303 bachelor students of the College of Home Economics (Family Science – Nutrition & food, clothing and Weaving Housing in its two sectors & Childhood Studies) on the first semester of 1436 H -1437 H. The most important research result is the positive relationship between educational results & economic & social factors. Although the previous mentioned result that was observed by researcher yet there was no relation found between academic results and the cultural factors for the students. Based on the research results the recommendations are as follows: The students’ family should support the student with the required practical materials needed for the educational major, so it does not affect her academic results. And academic instructors should consider the effect of teamwork when students work together. And any misconduct from any group member will lead to inconveniences in delivering the research, and the instructor must also educate the students about the importance of their academic results through educational sessions or brochures to help overcome obstacles they may face.
