Abstract : The study analysis and evaluation service digital reference in 116 national library in the world, using the descriptive analytical method to confine national libraries and analysis sites and analyze answers reference questions that have been sent to the service and determine the behavior of students at the University of King Abdul Aziz when their use her and procedures in the marketing and evaluation Service in national libraries, The study found that 95% of specialist references which have received qualifications in the specialty of libraries and information, and that the term "specialist references" Reference librarian is more terminology used to denote the Job Title of the service digital reference, also show that 75% of these libraries are available to have a policy to provide the service, and showing keen 62.96% of the national libraries to provide service in the form of Form E, followed by the Simple Mail by 44.44%, and then to provide the service FAQ by 22.22%, then chat up 14.81%, Then digital reference service and cooperative joint matching 3.85% of the total library study. And used students several methods to help reach service digital reference including checking links and icons Home has been used by 62.96% of the total students, followed by the use of the search engine by 40.74%, and then help screen help by 22.22%, then an icon contact us by 14.81% and finally Sitemap surged 11.11% of the total students.
