Abstract : This study focused on establishing a model for nationalizing (saudizing) the workforce in the private sector in Saudi Arabia. ? This model attempts to balance the ?interest of the government and the society, on one hand, and the?demands of private sector and the mechanism of the market, on the other hand.? To construct this? model, the study discussed the definition of saudization and illustrated the major motives that encouraged the private sector to rely heavily on the foreign workforce, including economic, administrative, and social motives. The study discussed the negative impact of reliance on the non Saudi workforce. In addition, a suadization model that is suitable for concerned parties was developed. It consists of three main dimensions that should be considered and implemented parallely at the same time.? These dimensions can be viewed as creating motivated environment for the Saudis seeking jobs, restructuring the educational system, and extensive orientation to the society as well as the owner and higher administrative people in the private sector to facilitate the process of saudization. This model is called (Ata’eyah), which stands for the first Arabic letter of the three dimensions of the model.
